History: Here's a start.

Shortly after receiving his promotion at MgRonalds, he was caught by the hero Emilia (now Emi Yusa) who had followed him to Japan through a gate of her own in order to finish him off. She immediately attempted to kill him, but the two were caught by police moments before anything could happen. Over the course of the next few days, Emi kept tabs on Maou and Ashiya, being disappointed as they went along their mundane lives. As soon as Maou and Emi met again, Emi recommended that he could just live peacefully on Earth. Maou on the other hand, put up a front in wanting to regain his magic and conquer both Earth and Ente Isla. With the two nearly facing off again, they were both attacked with magic by a mystery assailant, who took off before anyone could get a look at them.

After a few earthquakes in the area and the warning that there were more coming, Maou met up with his co-worker Chiho Sasaki to talk about something that had happened to her, trying to parse whether or not they were connected. He also found out that Chiho was able to understand Maou's native language of Entean, later revealed to be a result of him having used mind control on her police-officer father upon arrival. As they were warned, an earthquake hit the subway diner they were at, causing the subway itself to collapse. With the amount of fear and despair circulating due to all of the people trapped, Maou was able to conjure enough magic to temporarily revert back to his demon form. However, instead of taking advantage of the situation, he used all of his magic on restoring the subway and helping everyone trapped underneath escape without a single casualty.

The ones behind the attack are revealed to be Maou's former demon general Lucifer, originally believed to be killed by the hero, and Olba Meyer, Archbishop of the Church of Ente Isla who had disappeared through the gate after accompanying Emilia. Olba was a part of a group of rogues who believed that the hero would abuse her power after defeating the Demon Lord and felt it was a good idea to eliminate them both so the Church could seize power over Ente Isla, and had convinced Lucifer to join him in his quest by promising him that he'd be returned to Heaven. Their plot was to keep Chiho hostage, drawing out both demons and Emi, while causing chaos around Sasazuka to infuse Lucifer with magic. After a confrontation, the three faced off against Lucifer, utilizing the confusion and fear to draw out Emi's magic and once again, restore Maou to his demon form. In short time, Maou floored Lucifer with one super-powerful punch while Olba was taken out by Ashiya and Emi.

After using his magic again to restore the city and remove the entire ordeal from the memories of everyone at Sasazuka that day, Maou was once again stuck in his human form. With him being his responsibility as a demon general, Maou forced Lucifer to stay in his apartment, having him adopt the name Hanzo Urushihara. In between seeking out sources of magic and working, a new neighbor moved in next door to them; Suzuno Kamazuki, who spoke in an archaic dialect and wore early traditional Japanese clothing. She immediately came in to make dinner for the three while Ashiya was incapacitated with heatstroke. Emi and Chiho both found it suspicious, but it wasn't long before she had become friendly towards everyone, through teaching Chiho how to cook and Emi showing concern over her being around Maou.

Despite all of the chaos around him, he had done well in progressing at work; after less than a year Maou had been promoted to Shift Manager, soon being in charge of running the store while his supervisor is reporting to corporate. MgR's winds up facing a rival in the brand new Sentucky Fried Chicken across the street from them, taking over 80% of their customers within the first day. That same day, they meet the manager of SFC, Mitsuki Sarue, simply making himself known to the two while at the same time, hitting on Chiho. As the Tanabata Festival rolled around, despite attempting to hand out fliers and promoting how much easier it is to eat burgers than chicken, the customers stick to SFC until Maou chooses to participate in the festival. Putting up a bamboo tree for customers to hang up wishes and receive a complementary small drink-- bringing the customers in after subconsciously releasing magic from the wishes inside of hearts of everyone who came by.

This was enough to cause suspicion on Suzuno's part, having revealed her true name as Crestia Bell to Emi and that she was sent by the church to assassinate the Dark Lord. Once again, using Chiho and Emi as leverage to bring Maou to his doom at the hands of the Archangel Sariel, the true identity of SFC's Mitsuki. After a call from Chiho's mother that she hadn't been home and conferring with Urushihara that Chiho hadn't been around the apartment and getting Suzuno's whereabouts, he took off to the government building, where he was attacked by Suzuno. After a quick confrontation between the two where Maou revealed that he had really known all along that she had to be suspicious in some way ("How could I not? A sweet young girl moves next to an all-male household and finagles her way in and starts cooking and doting on them, it just doesn't happen!") and told her off for being just like Olba and the rest of the rogues at the church, Maou walked away a bit hurt but ready to take on Sariel.

The Archangel overpowered Maou in the beginning, drawing his power from the moonlight, but as the moon grew and buildings started crumbling, panic set in which allowed Maou to harness it into magic, transforming back into his demon form. Though Sariel was confident in his abilities to defeat Satan, he was soundly defeated after a skirmish that would once again, cause a lot of collateral damage. So much that with even more magic than he had before, he still had to use it to fix up the rest of the town and wipe memories, once again leaving him with nothing. Still, he had saved both worlds again in a sense, and returned back to his every day life with his two roommates, the hero, his co-worker, and Suzuno next door.

Previous Game History: n/a

Personality: The Demon King Lord Satan is a merciless individual, cruel and driven by power. His conquest of Ente Isla caused the death of countless humans and plunged the continent into darkness. Maou is definitely the opposite of that. Having spent a lot of time around humans on Earth has generally sapped him of his evil ways, as he's grown to like the world itself. By the time he faces off against Lucifer, he's decided against ever causing problems for anyone on the planet, considering the people on it have treated him well.

Maou still shows flourishes of his former demon self on occasion. He has a penchant for theatrics and has mythical names for his bike and his apartment; Dullahan and his Castle/Stronghold, respectively. As a shift manager, he leads his staff as if they were an army, giving pep speeches and commanding them during the Tanabata festival as if they were heading into a war ("All personnel to battle positions! It's time for battle!") and does his best to keep morale up amongst his crew, even when things look it's bleakest. He even shows a bit of bravado when addressed as the Demon Lord by Emi's visiting comrades from the church, posing with his hands on his hips dramatically. ("Indeed, I am Dark Lord Satan!")

From his time on Earth, he's become good natured and empathetic, even towards the hero when she blows up at him for being so nice on Earth, and in the past still being the reason she had to become the Hero and the reason her father was killed. ("I never really thought of it like that. Sorry, I didn't really understand people back then.") Though he shows regret over his actions as the Demon King, he accepts what he's done and won't deny it ever happening.

Maou also continues to look out for others, be it at MgRonalds, around town or his demon subordinates. After Lucifer attacked the city, he did his best to keep everyone safe, restoring everything back to the way it was. Even though Lucifer conspired to kill him, he still continued to keep him safe in his "new castle", away from the police. Even with Chiho in danger, he still cited that as the substitute manager of MgRonalds, he wouldn't let any harm to come her. He even manages to save and keep Emi safe, despite all of their bickering. Maou's definitely not one to shy away when anyone needs help, a certain change from before.

Maou still maintains a lot of his intelligence from when he was a demon; after all as a demon he was able to gain power politically come up with the strategy to conquer the continent. He's able to infer what happened piece by piece to Chiho once she told him about being able to understand Entean and the plot by Olba and Lucifer as soon as it's revealed they're working together. Despite his intelligence, he's still clueless about a few things; girls feelings being a major one. He seems blind towards the feelings Chiho has towards him, including offering Suzuno a job at MgRonalds while Chiho still saw her as a rival. Although there's a good chance he was simply pretending to not understand at all. ("She confessed so straight and clear that I can't just gloss over it.")

As a worker, Maou is extremely diligent, enjoying all of his work and remaining polite and respectful to all of his customers, even ones who attempt to insult him like Emi or Emi's co-worker. He's able to take note of customer and what they may need, from his first appearance behind the counter where he offers to heat up baby food in the microwave behind the counter for a customer and her child. He's able to keep his cool under a lot of traffic as well, remaining hospitable and keeping the line going without missing a beat or messing up an order. Even as a fast food worker, he takes a lot of pride in his duty as a Shift Manager and often gloats about his position in the store and how many promotions he's gotten in a short period of time.

He's overall polite to strangers, but is of course able to speak a lot more casually to someone he's grown closer to. He's still very polite to Chiho and even to an extent Suzuno, but speaks a lot casually with Ashiya, Urushihara and Emi. He's even still the type to get intimidated by yakuza types, as indicated by the very last episode where he squared off against a company trying to scam him. At the end of the episode, he smirks at the man that intimidated him, having defeated him completely. As nice as he can be, he can still be on the cocky side towards his enemies, giving dramatic speeches and not taking his enemies seriously at all, such as when he insulted Olba right after he and Lucifer attacked the city and spouting off lame lines as Sariel continued to attack him.
Personality Changes: n/a

Abilities: As a human in the beginning, he was able to store some of his demonic magic away for emergencies, having used most of it on establishing an apartment and an identity. As magic is considered fiction on Earth, it was hard to gather any more. However, he's able to harvest magic through feeding off of negative emotions from the humans during an extremely stressful situation. Most of his abilities are listed on the wiki, but I'll run off a few of the more important ones.

Transformation: With a large enough supply of magic, Maou can return to his original demon form, gaining horns, hooves, claws, and of course, growing in size. He's also able to temporarily take the form of others, having transformed momentarily into Chiho during his fight against Sariel. In his demon form, his strength, speed, and tolerance for pain are all immensely boosted.

Mind Control: He's able to gain control over sentient beings, bending them to his will. He's also able to extract information from them as well.

Telekinesis: He's able to manipulate objects, keeping a highway afloat for a long time. He often uses this along with a Restoration ability to return debris back to it's original form.

Regeneration: Shortly after fleeing from Lucifer, he was shot multiple times with magic projectiles as well as bullets, ending with a giant hole being blown in his chest. Though he was seemingly killed, he's able to heal his wounds at rapid speed, as he was instantly healed once he transformed.
